Flaxseed oil contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 essential fatty acid which is essential for maintaining joint’s cell structure and function. ALA is broken into two compounds within your body, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). These play a significant role in making anti-inflammatory substances in the blood called prostaglandins.

Although believed to come originally from Egypt, the flax plant is also widely grown all over Canada and the north-western part of the United States. Flaxseed oil contains essential soluble fibres and fatty acids.

How to use
